In October2015, at the invitation of Chairman Nirj Deva of the EU-China Friendship Association, Hu Sishe,Vice President of the CPAFFC visited Brussels, Belgium to attend the promotion events celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and the EU. The EU-China Friendship Association, the CPAFFC and Hainan Province co-organized the seminar on"In Partnership for the Next Forty Years", the photo exhibition of "Beautiful Hainan" and other activities to promote the pragmatic cooperation between the local governments of China and the EU, and the concept of Belt and Road initiative. Those activities attracted many European parliamentarians and scholars from Britain, Poland, Romania, Italy, Greece,Czech Republic and other countries to partic-ipate and sparked a huge response in the European Parliament.
