During the delegation’s visit to Tibet, Ju Jianhua, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of China's Tibet Autonomous Region met with the delegation. The delegation also visited the Potala Palace, the Norbulingka, the Jokhang Temple, the Tibet Museum, the Tibet University and some Tibetan families. In October2015, at the invitation of Chairman Nirj Deva of the EU-China Friendship Association, Hu Sishe,Vice President of the CPAFFC visited Brussels, Belgium to attend the promotion events celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and the EU. The EU-China Friendship Association, the CPAFFC and Hainan Province co-organized the seminar on"In Partnership for the Next Forty Years", the photo exhibition of "Beautiful Hainan" and other activities to promote the pragmatic cooperation between the local governments of China and the EU, and the concept of Belt and Road initiative. Those activities attracted many European parliamentarians and scholars from Britain, Poland, Romania, Italy, Greece,Czech Republic and other countries to partic-ipate and sparked a huge response in the European Parliament.

In October 2013.the delegation of EU-China Friendship Association visited Beiing. Liaoning and Chongqing successively at the invitation of the CPAFFC.
